Two things need a reservation. Everything else is walk-in.

    Good to know

Bring cash. Most hawker stalls take cash or QR only. Small notes. There are ATMs at every centre.
Seventh-month manners.Don't sit in the front row at getai — those seats are for the spirits. Don't step over or kick roadside offerings. Photos are fine at public getai; ask before shooting inside a temple.
Eat before 13:30, or after 14:00.Hawker centres are brutal at peak. Several kueh stalls sell out by early afternoon.
Grab, not taxis.Every hop in this plan is 8–20 minutes and S$8–20. Nothing needs a car booked ahead.
Dress for temples.Shoulders and knees covered at Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Linen shirt, not a singlet.
Sunday is a wind-down.You have meetings at 09:00 Monday. Home by 20:00, lights out by 21:30.
